I have been waiting with intense anticipation for An Act of Salvation Book 2 in the Acts of Honor Series and it lived up to my anticipation. This book is the story of Katelyn and Nick. Katelyn is cousins with Faith who we meet in the Men of Honor Series Book 3 Resisting Temptation/5().

God's Mighty Acts in Salvation goes through the entire book of Galatians, teaching the core truths of the gospel and introducing and explaining such concepts as justification, the priority of Scripture, and the relationship between the old and new covenants in terms that are easily understandable for the upper elementary/pre-teen age range/5(10).

If Saul appears to be merely standing by when Stephen is stoned (Acts ), this impression is quickly corrected as the Book of Acts unfolds. Just a few verses later, we read, But Saul was trying to destroy the church; entering one house after another, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison (Acts ).

THE BASIS OF SALVATION IN LUKE-ACTS In Luke-Acts, salvation is “of God” (Luke ; Acts ). God is Savior (Luke ). As the third column on our charts reveals, salvation in Luke-Acts is frequently based simply on the inexplicable and unmotivated initiative of Size: KB.

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Young's Literal Translation and there is not salvation in any other, for there is no other name under the heaven that hath been given among men, in.

Acts ,47 And Peter said to them, " Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts of salvation book For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far. Acts New International Version (NIV).

12 Salvation is found in no one Acts of salvation book, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”. “Get out of the Book of Acts,” he blurted indignantly, swinging his arm in a sweeping motion, his face ex-hibiting a look of pure disgust.

My mother-in-law had just asked her pastor a question pertaining to salvation. Obviously, it disturbed him to hear her refer to the Book of Acts as a basis for her ques-tion. Acts 10 – Peter and Salvation of the Gentiles After Cornelius receives the Holy Spirit, Peter returns to Jerusalem. The “circumcised believers” there asked him about his visit to a Gentile’s home.

conversion (Acts ), salvation (Rom. ), redemption (Rom. ), regeneration (Titus ), born again (Jn. and variations of these words While these words have some distinctions they all convey the idea of a change or transformation wherein we are taken from one place to another. Book of Acts Salvation and Healing Church Brother and Sister Terrell have dedicated their lives to promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto salvation.

By God's will, they have traveled throughout the world preaching to those that have an ear to hear the Good News; Jesus died for us and if you accept Him as your personal Savior, you shall have eternal life. A. Acts tells us how the Christian movement came into beginning.

Acts has been called a transitional book because it serves as a bridge between the gospels and the epistles. It is the historical link that joins the life of Christ with the growth of the Christian : Ray Pritchard.

An Act of Salvation is the second book in the Acts of Honor series by the immensely talented KC Lynn. This book features characters we have met in previous books by this author but it can be read as a stand alone without missing a beat and as with all this author's books it has no cliffy and the epic HEA/5.

The book of Acts shows how God essentially took a group of fisherman and commoners and used them to turn the world upside down (Acts ). God took a Christian-hating murderer and transformed him into history’s greatest Christian evangelist, the author of almost half the books of.

We know that there is only one way of salvation, and that is through faith in Jesus Christ (Matthew ; John ; ; Acts ; Ephesians ).

We also know that the command to believe is directed to individuals and the act of believing is a personal action. Acts at a Glance. This book records the origin and early days of the church, emphasizing the ministries of Peter, Stephen, Philip, and Paul.

It begins with the ascension of Jesus from Mt. Olivet near Jerusalem and concludes with the imprisonment of Paul in Rome. The purpose of the book of Acts is governed by the Jews response to Peter and Paul. Luke recorded three rejections by the Jews to Peter and the apostles associated with him to the message of repentance and proclamation of the kingdom.

In the latter portion of Acts, Luke recorded three rejections of the Jews to Paul’s overtures of salvation. We can learn a lot about the importance of baptism since it is prevalent throughout the book of Acts when the early church was being established.

CONVERSIONS FROM THE BOOK OF ACTS – PAUL (Acts ) MARVIN L. WEIR. INTRODUCTION. The Book of Acts is not only a book of history, but also a book of conversions. If one genuinely wants to know what to do to be saved, he can read the book of Acts.
